The result of asking for favours

samfloy~27 January 2018 /Communication/Random

When I look back on this week I realised that I asked a lot of favours of people.

I find it quite awkward doing so, but was very thankful for all the positive responses.

There’s a lot of research into how expressing gratitude is good for you, and so… thank you to everyone who was kind enough to help out. I really, really appreciate it.

The two main “asks” were to Like the new podcast Facebook page I made, and share this update in case anyone wanted free Excel training.

I’m now in full Karma-mode, so if you need me to do anything for you, just shout 🙂

In other news…

This weekend I’m off to do some camping near Mount Kenya. One of my New Year Resolutions is “to sleep outside 6 times” and so am looking to tick one off early doors. I will seek to share a pic or two next week.

Also, if you’re after a thought-provoking read this weekend, then I can recommend this article which goes through 3 scenarios of what might happen in a world where people don’t need to work.

It’s sparked a few interesting conversations, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts.
